We are looking for motivated bilingual translators and
interpreters for part-time contract work in the following
languages:Amharic and Tigrinya, Somali, Korean, Mandarin and Cantonese, Vietnamese, Cambodian (Khmer), Lao and Thai. |
The quality of language services rendered by the Academy of
Languages, Translation & Interpretation Services, is a direct result of
the agency's team of positive, motivated, organized, and experienced
individuals with a keen interest in the T&I field.
Translation Project Managers are trained and skilled in project
assessment, bid preparation, client and contractor
relations/negotiations, multilingual project management, desktop
publishing, glossary management, quality assurance, software
localization, to name a few of their duties.
Interpreter Coordinators are experienced in request assessment, client
and contractor relations/negotiations, interpreting appointment
scheduling, conference interpreting planning, interpreter
recruiting/interviewing/training, in addition to many other
responsibilities. Foreign language capabilities are a near necessity
working at the Academy, as are strong communication skills in English
and cross-cultural relations awareness.
