- Localization: we translated the entire website of Cascade Design, Inc. into French and German. (2010)
- Interpretation: we scheduled 3 teams of Brazilian Portuguese conference interpreters for 3 overlapping high-profile briefings at Microsoft. (Apr 2011)
- Interpretation: we worked with the French American Chamber of Commerce to provide a French escort interpreter to a group of French executives on a business tour of the Seattle area. (May 2011)
- Multimedia: we provided 5 Japanese VO talents and a Japanese studio assistant to dub a 8-minute animated movie on the subject of Change Leadership Process that will be circulated in Japan. (Aug 2011)
- Translation: we are currently coordinating the French to English translation of 12 reports related to population dynamics in Sub-Saharan Africa developped by the World Bank, with a total Word count of almost 400 000 words. (Oct 2011)

We are actively recruiting for medical interpreters based in the Seattle area for the following languages: Amharic/Tigrinya, Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian, Bulgarian, Burmese, Cambodian, Greek, Korean, Lao/Thai, Marshallese, Nepali, Punjabi/Hindi/Urdu, Romanian, Tagalog/Ilocano and Somali.
We are also expanding our roster of Vietnamese legal interpreters.

- Two national medical interpreter certification initiatives have been making progress in the past year. We believe this is a positive development for the interpretation industry as a whole that will help raise standards and therefore the professional standing of medical interpreters in the nation. - The National Board of Certification for Medical Interpreters - NBCMI (endorsed by the International Medical Interpreters Association and Language Line)
- The
Certification Commission for Healthcare Interpreters - CCHI
(endorsed by the National Council on Interpreting in Healthcare)
- The tri-annual congress of the International Federation of Translators (FIT) took place this August in San Francisco. Our general manager Olivier Fabris attended the congress and reports that national (ASTM) and international (ISO) quality standards for the translation industry are being developped and will certaintly benefit the industry as a whole. A number of talks discussed the pros and cons of Video Remote Interpreting (VRI), with the general consensus being that VRI is here to stay and that it can be a useful tool when applied in the right circumstances.
- The Washington State Coalition for Language Access (WASCLA) Summit VII is scheduled to take place in mid October in Olympia, WA. Several of our staff will be there and are looking forward to another 2 full days of educational and energizing sessions.
